Students and teachers created the unusual car which passed tests on the basis of the Air Force of Australia of Novr where showed speed more than 88 km/h. The previous officially registered record makes 79 km/h. Developers claim that their car uses exclusively solar panels which are made from silicon substrates as a power source.

The car is capable to make about 1200 watts in operating time – consumes, for example, a kitchen electric kettle or a small household heater so much. Last year informal arrivals of Sunswift on a route Darwin-Adelaide where the solar car reached speed in 103 km/h were carried out.
